Need-To-know Information


Badges and Tickets

Please note that your conference badge must be worn at all times and serves as admission to all conference sessions, special events, and meetings included in the registration price. Some events will require advanced registration, tickets, and an additional fee. Pre-registering is encouraged. Badges will be available on site - please find the NAMSS Conference Registration Desk to pick up your badge.


Handouts

NAMSS will provide online access to session handouts prior to the meeting. In an effort to reduce the environmental waste created by unnecessary paper and ink usage, NAMSS will NOT have printing stations available on site. We encourage you to print the handouts prior to the event and/or download the mobile app which will have all handouts included.

Conference Attire

Attire during all sessions and events at the conference will be business casual. It is usually best to dress in layers due to fluctuation in room temperatures. Comfortable shoes are recommended. NEW! Attendees are also encouraged to dress in RED to the Ruby Reception on Monday evening (5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall). All attendees are invited to this special event which will celebrate NAMSS' 40th annual conference.


Smoking Policy

To ensure everyone’s comfort, smoking is prohibited in the sessions, exhibit hall, and at all food functions.


Children

No persons under the age of 21 are allowed in conference meetings or events, including the exhibit hall. Individuals 21 and older with a ticket to the Opening Reception and/or Business Luncheon will be permitted entrance into those specific events, only.


Networking Time


Be sure to take part in the various networking events that NAMSS has scheduled throughout the week, such as the Ribbon-Cutting and Exhibit Hall Opening Reception, Business Luncheon, Keynote Speaker sessions, and the optional Roundtable Networking Breakfast Meeting.
